HISTORY OF
THE BLACK HOLE
The history of The Black Hole began in 1995 when Rob Rivera and a group of friends were inspired by the Cleveland Browns' Dawg Pound to create a new, intimidating fan section for the Oakland Raiders. They settled in the southern end zone of the Oakland Coliseum, which became known as the "Black Hole". The group was known for its fans who dressed in elaborate costumes and created a hostile atmosphere for opposing teams, and the club expanded significantly over the years. Following the Raiders' move to Las Vegas, the Black Hole has continued to support the team at Allegiant Stadium.
